Ellen – Office Manager
Ellen has been a member of Dr. Young’s team since 2020. She has a background in dental management, consulting and clinical dentistry. She lectures in universities and public schools. She holds licenses as a registered dental assistant, OMSA, and phlebotomist. In addition, Ellen holds a plant based nutrition certification, along with being an advocate for human and animal rights. Ellen enjoys the theater, concerts, dancing, hiking and most of all, spending time with her son and family.
Grace – Registered Dental Assistant
Grace joined our team showcasing her love of dentistry and a desire to create beautiful smiles. Practicing as a licensed registered dental assistant for the past 21 years, she enjoys helping people achieve beautiful smiles. Grace has brought humor to the office and brightens the spirits of our patients. She believes that laughter heals the soul. With her extensive knowledge and experience, she is committed to customizing your dental care both behind the scenes and chairside.
Alo – Dental Assistant
Alo began her dental career just before the pandemic. She is ready to welcome you to our practice with her talents and passion for dentistry. She will keep you comfortabe and safe.

Lucre – Dental Hygienist
Lucre has been in the dental field for 10 years. She believes in education and prevention. The link between oral health is intimately connected to systemic health. Ongoing education is the key and has become a large part of her career. She will share her current dental knowledge with you. Lucre enjoys her husband, children, traveling, cooking and the outdoors.
Yang – Dental Hygienist
Yang has been a dental hygienist for nearly 19 years. She graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Arkansas, the Razorbacks. Arkansas is only her second hometown. The first 21 years of her life were spent in Beijing, China. She has found that speaking fluent English and Mandarin has helped her in effectively communicating in the dental field, especially in San Diego.
Yang has been a Dental Hygienist for over 20 years. She has worked 12 of those years in a periodontal specialty office. She is experienced in helping her patients achieve their best gum health. Yang is known for her gentle and thorough dental cleanings. She takes the time to teach her patients the essential knowledge and skills needed to maintain their oral health at home.
